The Organic range of wines was introduced in 2007 and is a result of the company's observation that there is an increasing awareness of health issues and a desire for greater choice from consumers. To satisfy a perceived demand for organic wines, Salena Estate undertook modification of its vineyard management systems to organic practices. Salena Estate is now certified as a producer and bottler of organic products. These wines have found show success and ready acceptance in the marketplace because their taste and flavour profiles have in no way been diminished compared to their traditionally produced siblings.

This is a fine example of full bodied organic red Cabernet Sauvignon wine. It is rich and complex with layers of flavour and fine, well-structured tannins. The wine shows a deep plum colour with a rich and complex nose prominent in blackcurrant, tobacco and tropical leafy characters with hints of game. On the palate, flavours cascade over the tongue in a full-bodied, mouth-filling fashion.
