Sarantos and Constantina Moularadellis developed a small vineyard and founded Kingston Estate during the 1960s and 1970s, they brought the food-and-wine-loving traditions of their sun drenched Greek homeland to the equally sun-drenched Riverland district of South Australia.
Their son Bill, a graduate winemaker from Adelaide's renowned Roseworthy College, took over the reins of Kingston Estate in 1986 and has transformed it from a small, "cottage industry" vineyard and winery into one of the Australian wine industry's major players.
